Total Station Sokkia IM 52 di rancang khusus untuk pekerjaan survei pemetaan anda agar menjadi lebih akurat karena alat ini memiliki akurasi 2 detik. Kemudian pengukuran jarak 500 meter tanpa menggunakan prisma (reflectorless) dan jarak pengukuran 4 km dengan bantuan prisma.

Lalu terdapat teropong dengan lensa pembesar hingga 30x yang dapat melihat target lebih jauh secara jelas. Tersedia memori internal yang mampu menyimpan data hingga 50.000 point.

Sokkia menyediakan layar untuk melihat informasi pengukuran dan juga tombol berlatar lampu agar dapat terlihat di lokasi yang minim cahaya.
